Driving to Breckenridge stopped here for dinner, Great Chinese food, friendly staff, quick service and clean. Cashew chicken, pork and chow mein were all delicious.

To start we ordered 2 large bowls of won ton soup, it was horrible tasted like chicken noodle soup out of a can with won tons in it, we didn't eat it. The fried rice was dry and tasteless. My son had the sesame chicken, he said it was ok...not spicy like it's supposed to be. I ordered the shrimp with vegetables and found it to be very bland. It definitely was not worth the $30 I paid for 2 dinners. We will never eat at China Garden again and I will not recommend it.

The food here is great and the service is fast and friendly. This is the best Chinese food in the area. I would recommend them as above average.

Food is always good, no matter what you get. Staff is friendly. If you ask, they will make anything 'spicy' for you, even if it isn't listed as a spicy dish. We almost always have leftovers from here! Good portions!

This is one of the better Chinese restaurants in fremont county. Food is good and portions are amazing for the less then 6 dollar price for the lunch menu. Atmosphere is good and vibrant with motion picures on the wall. Staff is friendly and fast.

This is cheap but average-at-best Chinese fare. I ordered a shrimp plate -- it was merely okay and consisted of about 80% vegetables. My suggestion: go to the big city and pay more money. The higher quality will be worth it.

Consistently good Chinese food. The spicier dishes (e.g. Hot and Spicy Chicken, Hot & Sour soup) are especially good. Try their sister restaurant in Florence too.

It's been one of those weeks when I've been craving Chinese. And I mean good Chinese. Wasn't looking for cheap subpar food, but enough that if its good; my husband and I are coming back again. And we found it!!!! Ok, I'll get back on topic. Place is not hard to find. Look for the emergency care and you have found the place. Inside it is small, minus half a star. But we were seated quickly, ok so the lady taking a phone order told us to take a seat. The place was nearly empty at 5pm, not a bad thing per se, because Yelpers can't be wrong in the reviews. The waiter was friendly. We ordered the family dinner A and the fried dumplings. Word of advice, do not order another appetizer if your getting a family dinner. Way to much food. But being a new place to try, of course I'm getting the extra appetizer. Husband ordered shrimp with lobster sauce and I got the Hunan beef. First out is a XXL size soup of shrimp. Think egg drop with shrimp. After I accidentally dumped some on my husband, the easier was immediately at our table with several rags and cleaned the table throughly. Dumplings were excellence and came or hot. Both of our dishes were phenomenal. Surprisingly my husband would order his again. Mine was good, though the beef was a little too tender. Loss of half a star because fried rice will never be the same. No veggies like we're all used to. Mainly spot sauce and white rice mixed together. Highly recommend though and we can't wait to go back.

Haven't found what I consider great Chinese food since we moved from the east, but this place is fine for me. This is one of the only places I have been that I know exactly what my experience will be and how their food will taste. They are consistent and friendly. On top of that, they have never messed up a to-go order (or any order for that matter). For what is offered here, this is as good as it gets.

Would recommend this restaurant if your passing through canyon city and craving Chinese food. Good fried dumplings and overall the rest of the food was pretty good.

Had General Chicken with fried rice and Hot Spicy soup. Egg roll was great, along with small bowls of sweet and sour or spice sauce. Soup was great, but the General Chicken was dried out and way over cooked. It had a 'burnt cooking oil flavor'. Adequate veggies. So, I have to say 3 stars for the poor quality of chicken preparation. I bet they are better next time I go, most reviews seem to like the food. Staff is very nice and service is good.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
